IOOF/SLV Softball League Bat Policy

IOOF/SLV Softball League Bat Policy: Legal bats must have a USA or ASA approved stamp and be single wall. ALSO ANY BAT THAT IS COMPOSITE OR DOUBLE WALL IS ILLEGAL. Bat terminology and verbiage is changing every day. Listed are some key words that normally indicate that a bat is not suitable for our league: Multi-wall, variable wall, shell titanium/titanium alloy, carbon composites, composite handle, BPF exceeds “1.2.” Bats that are not perfectly cylindrical or that have visible dents, cracks, or burrs are illegal. The player who uses an illegal bat will be ejected from the game. If a team receives a second violation, they will be removed from the league for the remainder of the season.
